U-blox, a globally leading Swiss semiconductor company with expertise in the wireless and positioning space has announced a €1M investment and new R&D centre with 25 jobs located in Cork.
U-blox has also joined MCCI as its 20th industry member.
The CEO of u-blox, Thomas Seiler, said Cork was selected as the site for the new research centre due to the calibre of employees available in the region and that semiconductor research in Tyndall/MCCI has helped to foster the correct environment for u-blox to locate here.
