MCCI Member Xilinx, the world leader in programmable microelectronic devices, today announced 60 new jobs and a €39M investment in Ireland. 45 of the positions will be in high value engineering staff at its Dublin and Cork R&D centres with the jobs coming online over the coming 2 years. The first Xilinx research labs outside of the US was located in Ireland in 2005 and Xilinx currently employs 250 people in Ireland.
