MCCI PhD Researcher Wins 2025 Analog Devices Outstanding Student Award

MCCI is proud to announce that PhD Researcher Cian O’Donnell has been named the Analog Devices (ADI) Outstanding Student IC Designer Award winner for the EU Region 2025. This prestigious recognition celebrates Cian’s exceptional talent and innovative research in integrated circuit design for wireless powering of biomedical implants.

Cian, who conducts his research under the supervision of Dr. Danny O’Hare, was presented with the award at Analog Devices’ European Technical Conference (ETC) 2025 by Gerard Mora, Director of Technology in Precision Signal Chains at Analog Devices. He expressed his delight at receiving this distinguished honour, which highlights the impactful work being carried out within MCCI’s research community.

Congratulating Cian on his success, John Morrissey, MCCI Executive Director, said:
