MCCI is delighted to announce the launch its Work Ready Graduate Programme, a new initiative connecting companies with skilled Engineering and Masters-level graduates for 12-month placements. Businesses get a dedicated graduate working on real projects, supported by MCCI’s expert mentorship and research resources.
The MCCI Work Ready Graduate Programme is a new initiative designed to help companies access high-quality engineering talent while supporting recent graduates as they begin their careers.The Work Ready Graduate Programme provides businesses with a dedicated Engineering or Masters-level graduate for a 12-month placement. Participants work directly on industry projects while benefiting from MCCI’s technical mentorship and advanced research resources.
Under the scheme, companies receive a subsidised placement, contributing only a portion of the full programme cost. Graduates are formally employed by University College Cork (UCC) on a 12-month contract, ensuring streamlined administration and support. Recruitment is handled collaboratively, with MCCI and industry partners jointly developing job specifications, promoting roles and selecting candidates.
